Talia Emery, M.D., our Medical Director, is recognized as one of the top practitioners of aesthetic medicine in the country. She oversees all aspects of client care, actively sees and treats patients, and maintains responsibility for the recruiting and development of our staff. Dr. Emery was a board certified family physician that began her career as Chief Resident then Attending Physician at Kaiser Permanente hospital in Woodland Hills. In 2004, she became Regional Supervising Physician and Medical Director for a system of retail medical spa locations throughout Southern California.

In 2006, Dr. Emery started owning and operating her own aesthetic medicine and laser skin centers. She currently serves as Medical Director for multiple aesthetic medicine companies. She also works as a private consultant in the aesthetic medicine industry serving clients ranging from large biotech and pharmaceutical companies developing new products to physician offices seeking to improve their operations to top-tier resorts and hotels looking to establish a medical spa presence.

Dr. Emery is a certified speaker and trainer for BOTOX® and Juvederm®, and in that role is engaged to speak to and train physicians and their staffs across the country. Further, she is frequently asked to speak at industry events and has been recognized by Allergan as one of the top BOTOX® and Juvederm® providers and injectors in the country. She serves on Allergan’s Facial Aesthetics Advisory Board and is also part of the National Speakers Bureau for Latisse®.

In addition to her professional roles, Dr. Emery prides herself on the long-standing relationships she has with her clients and the impeccable reputation she has attained with them. Dr. Emery has an unprecedented retention rate among clients and is highly regarded and sought after by industry leaders and executives in the field of aesthetic skin care when they require aesthetic services. Prior to practicing medicine full-time, Dr. Emery received a B.S. from the University of California – Los Angeles (UCLA) with a major in biology, earned her M.D. from Temple University’s School of Medicine, and completed her residency with UCLA at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills.

Dr. Emery lives is Southern California with her husband and two young boys. She enjoys watching and participating in numerous outdoor activities and sports.

Andrea, our nurse practitioner, loves working at Remedy. She believes she has found the perfect niche that allows her to meld preventative and proactive treatments helping her clients bring out their best. She has worked as a nurse practitioner in southern California since 2000. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing at UCLA in 1994 and worked as an ICU/ER RN until she returned to UCLA for her Master’s of Science in Nursing degree specializing in family practice. She joined the Remedy team in 2010. Andrea loves educating her clients so don’t be surprised if you leave Remedy with a firm understanding of the science behind the esthetics.

When she’s not at Remedy, you’ll find her running around the community as the busy mother of three boys. She loves living in the area because it is so close to the ocean and the city and it allows her to easily go camping, mountain biking, running and hiking with her boys and 2 rescued dogs. Her favorite downtown venue is the Disney Concert Hall. When she’s at home she loves to curl up with a good book (while doing 50 loads of laundry).

Jen, our Manager, is passionate about skincare and providing excellent customer service to our amazing clients. She loves educating on the services Remedy has to offer and helping clients with their skincare needs. Jen has worked with Dr. Talia Emery, for the past five years and has enjoyed every minute of it.

She is originally from Sierra Madre, CA and has been a Santa Rosa Valley resident for the last 9 years. When not at Remedy, Jen is a devoted mother to her two beautiful daughters Juliet and Aubrey. She also loves spending time and watching football with her amazing husband of 8 years Chris.

Robyn, our Esthetician, specializes in wellness, anti-aging and acne treatments. She dedicates a great deal of time to each appointment, providing personal, customized care for each of her clients. Her goal is to achieve perfectly balanced, rejuvenated and healthy skin.

Robyn was born in Burbank, California. After high school she worked as a dental assistant while attending college. Her love of travel then took her to Continental Airlines, where she worked as a flight attendant for 19 years. Her lifelong interest in skin care brought her to her second career as an esthetician. She has worked with Dr. Emery performing the art of regenerating and perfecting the skin since 2005.

Robyn lives in Westlake Village with her husband, Kevin. They have 3 daughters and 4 beautiful grandchildren.

Lisa is our Medical Esthetician. She has a passion for skin care and enjoys sharing her knowledge with her clients so their skin always look it’s best. She is trained in 302, iS Clinical and MD Skincare. Lisa also has her advanced training in eyelash extensions.

Raised in Ventura, Doreen loves living in California. Having experienced the cold winters of Utah for several years, she was more than ready to come back and enjoy Cali’s beautiful weather.

She greatly enjoys her work as an R.N. at Remedy and believes education is key in providing your skin care needs. Being a busy mom to Marina and Dash and wife to husband Aaron, she encourages fellow moms and wives to take time out for themselves for some Remedy.

Linda, our Community Liaison, comes to Remedy with excitement and passion about Remedy and our community. With thirty years in medical management Linda appreciates the high standards at Remedy for 100% client/patient satisfaction.

Always interested in health and the philosophy of nurturing one’s self Linda shares her experiences with the community by organizing events featuring Dr. Emery and the Remedy team.

You can also find Linda as a weekly volunteer for Los Robles Hospital and the NODA  (No One Dies Alone) program.

If not at Remedy and not volunteering you will find her on her yoga mat smiling as she is thinking about her grandchildren.

Jenni, our Skin Guru, is passionate about skin care and helping clients’ skin look its best.

After working in the architecture and design world for over 5 years, she shifted gears obtaining her Aesthetics’ license where she utilizes her attention to detail and enthusiasm for knowledge. Whether assisting the Remedy Team with a procedure or helping a client select the right skincare product for their skin, she enjoys sharing her expertise and seeing skin transformations.

Jenni lives in Camarillo with her two bulldogs, Duchess and Gabby, practicing Pilates in her free time. She also enjoys biking along the shores and reading a great adventure book with a bit of dark chocolate at her side.

Clarisse, our Assistant Manager and Product Specialist, is passionate about skincare and enjoys sharing her knowledge with clients to help them achieve and enjoy beautiful skin.

She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with a Professional Designation in Beauty Merchandising and Marketing. She is currently pursuing her Bachelors degree in Business Marketing.

Clarisse lives in Thousand Oaks with her family and 2 cats. She loves traveling, watching a good movie (whether at home or the theater), and getting pampered with a relaxing massage and facial.

Judi Sebo, our European trained esthetician and make up artist, joined Remedy in 2010 bringing 25 years of experience in the field of skin care and make up. Her specialty is custom blending mineral foundation to perfection and impeccable eyebrow shaping. Her facials are soothing and luxurious resulting in beautiful and glowing skin. She approaches each client with a nurturing and personal touch.

Judi is a 13 year resident of Oak Park with her husband and the mother of two college students.

When not beautifying the Remedy clientele, Judi enjoys walking with her maltipoo Zoey, exercising, and traveling all over the world.
